William Dietsch

William E. Dietsch, 92, of Jamestown and formerly of Pingree, ND died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at SMP Health-Ave Maria.

William was born July 31, 1933 to William and Helen (Schroeder) Dietsch near Pingree. He graduated Pingree High School and went on to serve his country in the US Army, including time in Germany. After the service, he returned to Pingree to farm the rest of his life. William never married and the farm was his way of life.

William has been cremated. Part of him will be interred at the Pingree Cemetery, Pingree, ND, 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, with lunch following at the Pingree Community Center. Following lunch, a scattering of his remaining cremains will occur at his favorite spot on his farm, per his wishes.
