Marilyn Kollman, 80, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday December 13, 2005 at her home in Jamestown, ND.

Marilyn Dethloff was born April 21, 1925 at Harvey, North Dakota, the daughter of John Dethloff and Rosella (Lucas) Dethloff. She attended the local school where she received her elementary education and graduated in 1943 from Harvey High School. She attended business school in Fargo, ND.

She and John Charles were married in 1945. They made their home in Harvey and Spiritwood, ND, later moving to Jamestown where she was a homemaker.

She and Lee Kollman were married at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where they owned and maintained apartments since 1964. Following the death of her husband April 8, 1988, she continued to reside in Jamestown.

She is survived by her 6 children, Robert Charles, Minneapolis, MN, Jacquelyn (Calvin) Hillesland, Watertown, SD, John (Denise) Charles, Minot, ND, David (Bev) Charles, Bismarck, ND, Randy (Debi) Charles, Apple Valley, MN, Steven (Deb) Charles, Pelican Rapids, MN,
3step children, Judy (Wayne) Schmidt, Billings, MT, Sharon (James) Zwinger, Sykeston, ND, and Linda Nicholson, Glendive, MT, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother, John Dethloff, Harvey, ND.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday December 17, 2005 at the Victory Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Shawn Bowman, officiating pastor.

The interment will be made at the Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND.

I am so sorry for your loss and if I had known sooner I would have tried to be their to pay my respects to your Mom. I have known her for many years, she was such a dear friend of Mother's (Lena Krueger) and was so much part of our family. I didn't know you all very well, but my brother Kevin does , he and my sister Diane will be their tomorrow. We just found out tonight. I can see your Mom and mine drinking coffee together talking and talking we lived next door in the early 1960's.Also when they both lived at the Gardenette they were dear friends and I saw her whenever I came back to see Mother. I also knew Lee he was such a nice person, I was so happy when they married, they loved each other so much, even as a kid I saw that,. So cool they were and they loved you all so much. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you, how blessed we were you for your Mom Marilyn and us for our Mom Lena. With all my love, Cathy Adams
