Joyce Kukla, 86, Jamestown, ND died Friday April 26, 2024 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.
Joyce was born September 15, 1937 at Killdeer, ND, the daughter of Lewis and Lena (Erdman) Saby. She attended school and graduated from Killdeer High School in 1955. She attended nursing school at Dickinson where she became an LPN.
She and Laurence Kukla were married September 29, 1958 at Killdeer, ND. They made their home in California while he was in the service. They returned to Dickinson and in 1973 they moved to Jamestown where she was a pharmacy tech. Joyce later worked at the YMCA in child care.
Joyce was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, belonged to the Trinity Lutheran Quilters and the roaming Buffalo’s Camp Group.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, Jamestown, ND; 2 children, Lynette (Mitch) Seibel, Adrian, ND, Jeff (Lynette) Kukla, Piedmont, SD; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents 1 brother and 1 sister.
