Gordon W. Humann, 56, Jamestown, ND died early Saturday morning September 2, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Gordon Humann was born August 9, 1950 at Bismarck, ND, the son of Edwin and Katherine (Wanner) Humann. He attended the Wishek Public School and graduated from Wishek High School in 1968. He attended Automotive Technical School at Laramie, WY.
He and Lois Rudolf were married February 11, 1972. They made their home in Wishek where he worked at the Wishek Concrete and Lumber Company. They moved to Jamestown in 1977 where he was employed at Western Gear (Goodrich Co.) until the time of his death.
He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown. Gordon enjoyed many years of camping, golfing, motorcycling, cooking, yardwork and spending many happy times with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Lois, Jamestown, ND, 2 sons, Philip Humann, Jamestown, ND, Michael Humann, Fargo, ND, 1 sister, Esther (Amos) Brinkman, Wishek, ND, 3 nieces, Debbie Adams, Lois Brinkman and Teresa Humann, 2 nephews, Eric Humann, and Nathan (Brooke) Humann, 1 grandniece, Danielle and 2 grandnephews, Jesse and Jordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Elmo, Thomas and Robert.
The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 7, 2006 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Doug Opp, officiating.
The interment will be made in the St. Lukes Lutheran Cemetery at Wishek, ND.
