Obituary
Gloria Kapp, 66, Jamestown, ND passed away Wednesday September 27, 2006 in the Central Dakota Village in Jamestown, North Dakota.
Gloria Wentz was born November 11, 1939 at Sanger, North Dakota the daughter of Christ Wentz and Lena (Witt) Wentz. She received her elementary education in Steele and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She then attended college in Bismarck for 2 years.
She and Clarence Kapp were married November 13, 1960 at Leads, SD.
They made their home in Fargo for a short time moving to Tappen and then to Vancouver, WA. In 1988 they returned to North Dakota and resided in Jamestown where they have continued to reside.
She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Tappen, ND and the James Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence, Jamestown, ND, 2 sons, Scott Kapp, Jamestown, ND, Todd Kapp, Minneapolis, MN, 1 granddaughter, Staci, her mother Mrs. Lena Wentz, Steele, ND, 2 brothers, Earl (Irene) Wentz and Curt (Diane) Wentz all of Bismarck, ND, 3 sisters, Mavis Houghton, Steele, ND, Jan Holzer, Bismarck, ND and Bernice Morgan, Las Vegas, NV.
She was preceded in death by her father, step-father and 3 brother-in-laws.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday September 30, 2006 in the James Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Newton Trimmer, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Fisher Cemetery at Tappen, ND
