Raymond Stough

My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your brother Raymond. My mother (Frances Cook) always spoke so fondly of you and all her Jamestown College acquaintances.

My condolences to Ray's family. I stumbled onto this quite by accident. I was his friend from 1983 until the very late 1990's when my family and I moved out of New York City to Connecticut. He was a terrific person with tremendous acting talent. Ray was very kind to me and he got me started in the city when I first came there in 1983. We took acting class together and put me up for a few months until I got my feet on the ground. I was raised in a small North Dakota town and I believe he always related to how difficult that adjustment was to make. We kept in touch for several years and I attended his performances and he attended mine. He was often a guest for Thanksgiving and other holidays at my apartment. I regret not keeping more closely in touch with him. I'm only scratching the surface of what a wonderful man Ray was. May he rest peacefully.
