Obituary

Sadie Dockter, 87, Fargo, ND died early Wednesday morning May 2, 2007 at Bethany Homes in Fargo, ND.

Sadie Donat was born January 12, 1920 at Streeter, ND, the daughter of John Donat and Lydia (Grenz) Donat. She received her elementary education at the local rural school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Walter Dockter were married September 9, 1938 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home on her parent's farm 11 miles south of Medina, ND, and farmed there until the fall of 1957. They moved to Jamestown.

In 1985 they moved to Fargo, ND and resided at Trollwood Village. Following the death of her husband in 1997, she continued to reside in Fargo and in 2005 she moved into the Bethany Homes in Fargo, where she has resided since.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Stanley (Dorothy) Dockter, Glendale (Pat) Dockter, 1 daughter, Dyan (Donald) Clemens, all of West Fargo, ND; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 grandchildren, Roger Dockter, Julie Dockter, Jenifer Dockter, 1 brother, Ruben, and 1 sister, Irene.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday May 7, 2007 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

The interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, ND.

Arrangements are with the Haut Funeral Homes in Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sat & 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sun
