Larry S. Williams, 58, Jamestown, ND died Saturday evening August 25, 2007 while under the care of hospice at his home in Jamestown, ND.

Larry Williams was born January 14, 1949 at Cloquet, MN, the son of Lee Williams and Leona (Petersen) Williams. He attended schools in Cloquet, MN, Bismarck and Jamestown, ND. He graduated from the Jamestown High School in 1967. He began working for the Northern Pacific Railroad on June 6, 1967.

He and Madelyn Wegner were married July 3, 1971 in Jamestown, ND.
They made their home in Jamestown where he continued to work for the Railroad. He finished his railroad career with the BNSF Railroad in June of 2006.

Larry's passions were his family, friends and fishing.

He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Jamestown, ND.

Surviving are his wife, Madelyn, Jamestown, ND, 2 sons Jeremy, Valley City, ND, and Daniel, Jamestown, ND, 2 grandchildren, Sofia Marie Williams and Tristan Calvin Williams, his mother, Oakdale, MN, 1 brother, Lee (Terri) Williams, Jr., Oakdale, MN, 2 sisters, Linda (John) Schaeffer, Inver Grove Heights, MN, and Lori Ranum, Oakdale, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son Christopher.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday August 29, 2007 at the United Presbyterian Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. David Thompson, pastor officiating.

Interment will be made in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND. Visitation - None scheduled.
