Martha Werth, 88, Caldwell, Idaho, formerly of the Lehr, ND community died November 3, 2007 at a Medical Center in Caldwell, ID.
Martha Lang was born July 1, 1919 at Lehr, ND the daughter of Heinrich Lang and Fredricka (Zimmerman) Lang. She received her elementary education in the local school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She and John Werth, Jr., were married March 25, 1941 at Lehr, ND. They made their home on a farm 4 ½ miles SW of Lehr where they farmed. Following the death of her husband May 9, 1992 she continued to reside on the farm until moving into Lehr. She later moved to Idaho to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Lehr, ND.
She is survived by her children, Myrna (Ed) Quiring, Caldwell, ID, Ron (Betty) Werth, Wishek, ND, one grandchild, Angela Werth and 1 great granddaughter, Grace Marie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and all her brother sisters.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday November 8, 2007 in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lehr, ND.
The interment will be made in the Lehr City Cemetery, Lehr, ND.
Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes in Wishek, ND.
