Danny T. Schock, 47, Jamestown, ND died Monday January 21, 2008 at his home in Jamestown, ND.

Danny Schock was born August 31, 1960 at Wishek, ND, the son of Isadore Schock and Helen (Frederick) Schock. They resided on a farm NE of Lehr, North Dakota until 1974 when they moved into Wishek. He graduated from the Wishek High School in 1978. He lived and worked in Wishek until 1997 when he moved to Jamestown.

He and Shawna Kreie were married August 28, 1998 in Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked various job and recently doing custodial work at Washington Elementary School.

Surviving are his twin daughters, Hope and Heather, Jamestown, ND, his mother, Helen Schock of Wishek, ND.

He was preceded in death by his father and half-brother, Wayne Herr.

Funeral Service will be at 1:30 PM Saturday January 26, 2008 in the Dakota Room located in the Wishek Home for the Aged in Wishek, ND, with Rev. Marty Toepke-Floyd, officiating.

Interment will be made in the Lehr City Cemetery at Lehr, ND

As the principal of Louis L'Amour Elementary School, I had the opportunity to witness the love and support Dan provided for his two beautiful daughters whenever possible. One would just have to take a look into his eyes and see the genuine care and love he felt for those two girls. He was proud to say he was their Dad. I have also had the opportunity to hire Dan to be the night custodian at Lincoln Elementary School. He would work at Washington Elementary School in the afternoon, then he would come to Lincoln. Dan did an excellent job keeping our school clean and safe. He was always willing to assist us in times of need. We will miss his calm, pleasant, helpful personality around our school. Dan it was a pleasure to work with you and witness your love you gave to your two girls. May you rest in peace.
