Eva Muller

Eva Muller, 89, Wishek, ND, formerly of Gackle, ND died Thursday afternoon, February 7, 2008 at the Wishek Home for the Aged in Wishek, ND.

Eva Job was born November 1, 1918 south of Streeter, ND, the daughter of Jacob Job and Eva (Mayer) Job. She received her elementary education at the local rural school, and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and Richard Muller were married October 5, 1939 in Kulm, ND. They made their home on his parent's farm where they farmed until 1984 when they retired and moved into Gackle, ND.

Following the death of her husband in 1991, she continued to reside in Gackle until December of 2007 when she entered the Wishek Home for the Aged.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, ND, and also a member of the Ruth Circle.

She is survived by her son Allen R. (Lynda) Muller, Brookings, SD; 4 grandchildren, Paul, John, DeAnna, Laura; 1 sister, Katie Hollingsworth, Bumpass, VA; 3 step sisters, Elsie Dallman, The Dalles, OR; Edna (Ronald) Smith, Prineville, OR; Lillian (Raymond) Skattum, Adrian, ND; 3 step-brothers, Ernest Job, Great Falls, MT; Walter "Bud" (Betty) Job, Windsor, ND; Donald (Carol) Job, Vancouver, WA; a special aunt, Ida Brosz, Gackle, ND and uncle, Paul Mayer, Gackle, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother, 1 sister, 3 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday February 11, 2008 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, ND with Rev. Russ Pollock, officiating.

Interment will be in the Gackle Cemetery in Gackle, ND.

Prayer Service: Sunday February 10, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Gackle, ND.

Visitation: 1 - 9 Sunday at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Gackle, ND.
