Francis Karn, 78, Wimbledon, ND, died Wednesday February 13, 2008 at his home near Wimbledon, ND.
Francis Karn was born September 5, 1929, Courtenay, ND, the son of Edward Karn and Sophia (Mutschler) Karn. He attended the local rural school and also the Courtenay Public School where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he worked on the family farm.
He and Jewell Henne were married October 29, 1956 in Moorhead, MN. They made their home south of Wimbledon, ND where they farmed.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell, Wimbledon, ND; 1 son, Dale (Sue) Karn, Wimbledon, ND; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Kramlich, Courtenay, ND; Michael Martenay, Gretna, NE; 4 great grandchildren, Justin, Katie, Jake and Jayce Kramlich, and 1 brother, Fred Karn, Valley City, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 1 grandson, Jesse.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday February 19, 2008 at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Wimbledon, ND, with Rev. Robert Hill, officiating.
They interment will be at the Wimbledon Cemetery, Wimbledon, ND, in the spring.

Visitation - 9:00A.M.- 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home
