My memories of Pete were at the lake house in Garrison. Where he and my grandpa (Donald) taught me how to drive a lawn mower tractor. He always had patience with me even when I ran over Kelly & Rex's dog. He would wave to us as we would round the corner or tell us to slow down when I would go to fast. He had the warmest heart and the sweetest smile. He and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Melissa Sommerfield (Lillian's granddaughter)

Grief is the price we pay for love. How blessed we are to have people in our lives who make us hurt so much when they leave us. Our brother-in-law, Pete, will be missed by many. But the memories will keep him with us forever.

Kelly, JoAnn and Family, I was sorry to read about your Dad's passing. I remember when you lived on 6th Avenue and we would watch your dad in the parades with the Drum and Bugle Corp and what fun we had going to all the Legion picnics. JoAnn, remember when we were out at the dam on our air mattresses and these boys were bugging us (we were in grade school) and you told them to leave us alone or you would call the cops and one kid said "may dad IS a cop" and your comeback was, "Well so what, my Dad's the Crusher!" A daughter's love doesn't get much bigger than that! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Bonnie
