Obituary

Leah Hay Cameron, 90, Spiritwood Lake, ND, passed away peacefully Thursday September 25, 2008 at her daughter's home.

Leah Young was born September 26, 1917 at Paisley, Scotland, the daughter of William and Leah Young. She attended school and graduated from High School in Paisley. She grew to womanhood and worked in the thread mill.

She and Stewart Clark were married at Paisley where they made their home where she worked doing various clerical/book keeping work. Following the death of her husband she continued to reside in Paisley.

She and James Cameron were married and lived in Paisley. Following the death of her husband she lived in Paisley until 2005 when she moved to Spiritwood Lake, ND to live with her daughter.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leah (Ron) Schock, Spiritwood Lake, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A ceremony will be held at a later date in Paisley, Scotland.

To lose your mother,friend, feeling of belonging and need , all at the same time is a difficult and heartbreaking time. I know the lonely feeling,nothing can replace that emptiness. We must remember all the goodness, all the smiles she brought to this world, never to be forgotten. She was a special person, always herself, did things her way. Now you can smile when you see something that reminds you of her and her special way. She lives on...... It is sad one has to die, but the fond memories of her and the tales you can tell others of her special ways will continue her legacy to enable others to smile. Your friends,,,,,, ted & di
