Dear Tim & Sandy, I am so sorry to hear that Marie passed away. What a friend she was to us! She and Gertie helped Jeff and me through a very difficult time. They were the greatest friends and were always there for us when we lived in Streeter. I have many fond memories and many afghans to prove the hours we spent together. She was a wonderful friend. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. I remember how nice she was to everyone that she met. We met when our family moved to Gackle (in 1957)and I always liked her. She had lots of "spunk" back then. We last saw her a year ago when we stopped to visit Larry's aunt in the nursing home. We stopped by her room and she was getting ready for her afternoon nap, so our visit was short. I'm so glad we stopped to see her then. We will keep you all in your prayers and thoughts at this time.
