Victor 'Vic' Hehn, 61, Jamestown, ND died Saturday evening November 22, 2008 at his home in Jamestown.

Vic was born March 25, 1947 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Ezra Hehn and Estella (Schroeder) Hehn. He attended school at Gackle and later graduated from high school. He went to work as a deputy Cass County Sheriff.

He and Sharon Fitzpatrick were married May 17, 1991 at Valley City, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he drove truck for many years. In 2001 he went to work at the James River Correctional Center and has resided in Jamestown.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the Frontier Players in Jamestown.

He is survived be his wife, Sharon, Jamestown, ND; 5 children, Chris (Laurie) Hehn, Kindred, ND: Vicky Lynn (Marlin) Krump, Hankinson, ND; Chad (Jacque) Hehn, Kindred, ND: Kimberly Marie (Anthony) Moore, Littleton, CO; Faith Ann Stoppleworth, Jamestown, ND; 14 grandchildren, Breanne Hehn, Zack Hehn, Melanie Hehn Tyler Hehn, Nathan Hehn, Alexis Hehn, Martin Krump, Benjamin Krump, Teya Moore, Terrica Stoppleworth, Lane Stoppleworth, Bradley Stoppleworth, Keira Schempp, Rylin Schempp; and his mother, Estella Hehn, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday November 26, 2008 in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Darren Purdy, officiating.

The interment will be made in the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery NE of Gackle, ND.

Prayer Service - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday @ the funeral home
Visitation - 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. Tuesday @ the funeral home

My Sympathies to you Sharon and family.I met Vic in early seventies as he was leaving Butler parts and I was coming on. I enjoyed visiting while he was a Deputy. Then run into Him again at Bonanzavile, that was fun,Sharon you were there too. Thanks for the memories. Pete

Sharon and family we are saddened by the passing of Vic. He was a great friend and Co Worker. He made it fun to be at work with his smile and words of wisdom. He made everyone laugh with his quick wit. Vic will be missed and will have a place in our hearts and a kind and generous person. His last few weeks I saw how much love he had for Sharon with his wink and how he waved at Sharon as they talked. I will miss you Vic!
