Elena Eslick, 62, Jamestown, ND died Saturday December 6, 2008 at the Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Elena Glepo was born September 30, 1946 at San Manual, Philippine Islands, the daughter of Leopoldo and Marguerita (Paris) Glepo. She attended the local school where she received her elementary education and grew to womanhood.

She and Larry Eslick Sr. were married December 1, 1969 at Subic Bay Naval Base, Olongapo, and Philippine Islands. In November of 1971 they moved to Big Fork, MT where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and also did housekeeping. In 1999 she moved to Jamestown to be near her family. She entered the Hi-Acres Manor in July of 2008.

Her passions were her flower and vegetable gardens, she was an avid animal lover, was incredibly artistic, doing beadwork, quilting, crocheting and being a seamstress.

She is survived by her 5 children, Rose Genese, Guam, Lloyd Krenik, Jr., Philippine Islands, Lilibeth Holton, Topeka, KS, Larry Jr. (Cheryl) Eslick, Jamestown, ND, Ken (Laura) Eslick, Belgrade, MT, and 8 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday December 11, 2008 at the Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND, with Rev. Harlan Kaden, officiating.

The interment will be made in the Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Wed @ the funeral home
