Obituary

Brett Johnson, 60, Gackle, ND died Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at his home in Gackle.

Brett was born August 4, 1963 to Lloyd and Delores (Mayer) Johnson. He attended the local school in Gackle and grew up in the area. He moved to Jamestown where he began his career as a laborer, which included construction and welding.

While in Jamestown he met Kathy Hansen, they moved back to Gackle in 2008 where they made their home. Brett began working for Double J Manufacturing. Kathy died in 2020, he continued to reside in Gackle. He enjoyed wildlife and loved doing yard work, while he was still able to.

Brett is survived by his sister, Denise (Sheldon) Stein and his brother, Brian, both of Bismarck, ND and his 2 daughters, Christina & Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brent.
