Judy, Bernell, Jeff, Dana, Denise, Janelle and my dear friend Belinda. My heart grieves for all of you today as I heard the news of Boyd. Although it has been 27 years since my Dad passed away, many days seem like yesterday. Memories...will fill your moments of grief, these moments will result in laughter and many happy tears. Like my Dad, Boyd left me with a memory of a great SMILE and great sense of humor. I feel so blessed to have been raised in rural Streeter and to have developed life long friends. I lived next to some crazy neighbors, oops that was all of you and this too our families were blessed. Judy, we won't talk about first grade, but I will talk about confirmation and you talking to our class one evening. You talked about goals, not making them mountains right away, but to focus on the bumps and the hills. A goal is what we make it. As you go through the next year focus on each day and not tomorrow. A goal is what you make it...remember? You are a strong person with a bunch of great kids and the great town of Streeter to support you. Belinda, we shared so many wonderful times, I wish I could be there to give you a huge hug, but I am going to ask your family to each give you a big hug from me and know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Judy and family, my condolences to you on the passing of Boyd. Growing up, our families spent a lot of time together and I have great memories of those times together. Boyd always had a smile and hug for me. I can picture him laughing and joking at one of the many card parties that I went to with my mom and dad. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
