William "Will" Nelson, 27, Fargo, ND died Wednesday evening September 23, 2009 at his home in Fargo, ND.
William was born August 17, 1982 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Jeffery Nelson and Barbara (Thorson) Nelson. He received his elementary education at Hurdsfield Public School. They moved to Eldridge, ND in 1997 and he attended Jamestown High School where he graduated in 2001. He worked in his parent's restaurant, the Pantry Café. He later worked at the Dakota Hearth Bread factory in Jamestown. In 2004 he moved to Fargo where he worked as a shuttle bus driver for Best Western Doublewood.
He and Samantha Russell were married November 9, 2007 at Fargo, ND. They made their home in Fargo where they have continued to reside.
William had much to love in his life. He truly valued his family relationships and his friendships. He was very interested in art and music. He was a talented sketch artist and played guitar.
He is survived by his wife Samantha, Fargo, ND; 1 daughter, Avia Nelson, Fargo, ND; his father, Jeff (Deb Oleson) Nelson, Grand Rapids, MN; 1 sister, Andrea (Jacob) Johnson, Elk River, MN; grandparents, Carl and Almira Nelson, Washburn, ND; his grandmother, Beverly Knoblock, Jamestown, ND and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, 1 sister, Nellie Ann Nelson, and his grandfather, Robert Thorson.
The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 2, 2009 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
