I've always felt like the luckiest person on earth to have had Emma as my grandmother-in-law. She was the cheeriest, most upbeat and positive person I knew. I remember all of the vacations that she, Sandy and I went on BK(before kids). She loved to see new places and was alot of fun to travel with. A few years ago, she went camping with Sandy and Kelly and we all met in Itaska State Park. The kids were SO pleased that she came with(and it's pretty hard to please an 11 and 13 year old-at the time)We had a fire every night and she would come to our campsite in the morning and talk politics with Brent. It was so special-we had alot of great times. I will always remember how whenever we'd visit her she would fill the kids full of so much candy they'd practically overdose. And you could never say no-just look the other way and smile. These are only a few of the many great memories I have of grandma. She will be dearly missed for a long, long time. Even though she was 96, I would've liked more time. Love, Patty

We are so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. I remember her from growing up in that part of town and from working as an RN at Jamestown Hospital years later. Such a kind, sweet lady and loved by all who knew her. My aunt and uncle still live down the block to the south and we drove past your "home" on 9th Ave. just last week when we were there for Gary's mom's funeral. Keeping you in our prayers for comfort and peace. Gary & Janice (Hopland) Parfit
