Marcus Louis Paulson, 76, Jamestown, ND died Saturday morning February 13, 2010 at the Ave Marie Village in Jamestown.

Mark Paulson was born May 15, 1933 at Valley City, ND, the son of Marcus F. Paulson and Minnie (Norgaard) Paulson. In 1938 he moved with his parents to Jamestown, was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He attended school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1951.

He and Rae Ann Mueller were married June 1, 1952 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked at the Standard Oil Terminal for 20 years. He later became a salesman for Midwest Motors, Don Frederick Buick, Coast to Coast and Barkus Hardware.

He was a member of the Jamestown Elks Lodge 995, having served as Exalted Ruler, Trustee and Secretary. He was also a member of the Stutsman County Fair Board for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Rae Ann, Jamestown, ND; 2 daughters, Lu Ann (Daniel) Oberg, Grand Forks, ND; Janis (Brent) Wallender, Beulah, ND; 1 son, Marcus (Jackie) Paulson, Menomonie, WI; 3 granddaughters, Kelcey, Kylie and Karlee Wallender; 2 grandsons, Zach and Ben Paulson; 2 sisters, Barbara (John) Grim, Jamestown, ND; and Eunice (Ed) Nelson, Las Vegas, NV., 1 brother-in-law, Jack (Jane) Mueller, Northville, MI, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

The memorial service will be at 1:30 PM Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the United Presbyterian Church in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Dave Thompson, officiating.
The interment will be made in the Highland Home Cemetery at Jamestown, ND.

Our deepest condolences to you all for the loss of Uncle Mark. I have very good memories of Uncle Mark from a young age spending alot of time with you all. He always liked joking around with me and using his great sense of humor to come up with his nicknames he liked to use with us. He was one of my favorite Uncles. We had alot of good times at family get togethers and hunting trips with the guys. I know he is in a better place now. I cherrish all my memories of him.
