Goin' back to 90s Bismarck ..., I met in Lance a veritable Tom Sawyer. He and I were great fans of the nightclub scene and Karaoke bowling alley. Lance was a dear friend, regular patron, and sometime music contributor at our family's One World Coffeehouse. At one pont, Lance was even recognized by a N Dakota America's Got Talent talent search !! Caroline Shaw , his beloved grandmother , fed us good home cookin' . Over the 30 odd years of our friendship, Lance would always brighten my spirits with songs 🎵 and jokes. A crowning memory was our spending a full day cruising Lake Sakakawea on a judge's private schooner. You will be with me always, Lance - you and those "prepectuous junctures of validiquy." !!!
