We are sorry that we will not be able to make it to the funeral. We share in your sorrow but realize that Norm may now be free of pain and for this we are happy. I have always enjoyed my North Dakota uncles and their families and will always be quite proud of them. I enjoyed Norm over the years and looked forward to visits with him whenever possible. I will always be thankful for how he treated my mother and stayed in touch. Best of luck to Dolores and the rest of the family. I will send something to Hospice in Norm's name. Rick Billstein, nephew

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Norman. Ken and Norman were some of my best customers at US Bank when I was Supervisor in Book-keeping Dept. They both were great guys, and we are keeping the family in our prayers, and I am sure Norman will be greatly missed!!

I know that these past months have been tough ones for Norman and, as well, as for Deloris and all the immediate family. We cannot help but celebrate Norman's respite from his troubles. It is also a time to remember and celebrate the good life he led, full of cheerfulness, calm and persistence, whatever the days brought his way. He was a "bright light" in my firmament of memories of the past. He treated his much younger cousins with kindness and respect. So it grieves me to see such a warm flame extinguished. His close family will sense much more intensely the feeling of irreparable loss, for which you all have our warmest sympathy. What can we do but carry on?
