Goodbye Uncle Emil. Rest in peace. You will be missed.

Who will now be the geneologist for the Dockter-Schaffer families? Emil had a fantastic gift for accurate recall. He enjoyed regaling us with tales about the past, He was such fun to be with. We will miss Emil.

Eric and family - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandfather. I know how much he meant to you. It was really nice meeting him when he came to Illinois. I could see that he was very proud of you!

What a gentleman and a great friend to the Remboldt family. I remember the day when Budge walked out of the store and couldn't't find his car. He thought Annabelle or Cal had used it. Of course, those were the days when keys were left in the car. About an hour later, Emil walked in the store giving Budge a bill for new tires. When my dad asked why he had put on four new tires, Emil said because the old ones were worn out. Only in Gackle! Like Budge, Emil was a true salesman! Our condolences to Gail, Michael and their families.
