My sympathies go out to you on the lose of your father and grandfather. I grew up down the alley from your parents. I was a Neumiller. I remember your parents as hard working good people. I saw your father at Eventide and it was hard to believe that was the same man. He is at rest now and with your mom in heaven.

Jake was my dad's(Edwin Hust) best friend. I will never forget when dad passed away, that Jake humbly brought a bag of stamps and a fruit basket and set it at our back door. I guess he didn't want to bother us. I am very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you all. Jake was a good man.

Bernie and Jim, So sorry to hear about your dad. He was a real gentleman. We saw him a couple of years ago in the Depot cafe after church. He always talked about your mom and the time we lived there. Those were great memories for us. I know you also have great memories of your dad and mom as they were wonderful, caring people. You are in our prayers and thoughts. They were so proud of their boys. Now they are watching over you from heaven. Take care. Larry and Betty

Sorry for your loss. Please see the history of his Army unit at Youtube, by searching, "The 19th Engineers No Longer Exist". This is the story he never told. Blessings.
