Dennis Graber, 67, Fredonia, ND died Late Monday evening April 23, 2012 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Dennis Graber was born February 25, 1945 at Rolette, ND the son of Emery Graber and Della (Johnson) Graber. He received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity while helping on the family farm.

He and Judy Haagenson were married February 21, 1962 in Winnipeg, Canada. They made their home on a farm near Rolette until 1966 they moved to a farm 16 miles Northwest of Fredonia, ND.

He and Sandra Arntson were married and they continued to make their home on the farm where he was a cattle rancher.

Dennis was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Rolette, ND

He is survived by his special friend, Donna Tayler, Minneapolis, MN; 3 sons, David (special friend Juleen Mader)Graber, Jamestown, ND; Daren (Cherie) Graber, Fredonia, ND; Douglas (Katy) Graber, Minneapolis, MN; 9 grandchildren, Kyle (Alisha) Graber; Lisa Graber; Tara (Jason) Wentland; Jesse Graber; Luke Graber; Briana Graber; Isabella Graber; Samantha Graber; Mayhlet Graber; 1 brother, Blayne (Patty) Graber, Bottineau, ND; 3 sisters, Marilyn (Gil) Fletschock, Cooperstown, ND; Marcie (Joe) LaPorte, Grand Forks, ND and Susan (Jeff) Gartner, Bottineau, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 great granddaughter, Nevaeh, 1 brother, Kenneth and 2 sisters, Mavis and Melody.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday April 28, 2012 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with James Moline, officiating.

The interment will be made in the St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery in Fredonia, ND.

Visitation: 9-8 Friday April 27, 2012 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND

I met Dennis when he and Sandy lived at New Horizons Manor and became good friends with my brother Randie. We had such good times...grilling out and playing on the CB. I'll always cherish the times I spent out at the farm in Fredonia...the only time in my life I'd ever bailed hay. Whew! What a workout!When I was "stood up" on a date while there...they called up and arranged another one for me! I learned to shoot out there...and killed a gopher...then cried because I just knew his wife and kids were sitting in their little gopher hole waiting for daddy....and he never came back. Randie's birthday was April 25...so I guess Dennis decided to go up for the party! I'm sure they are having a good time...and haven't sat down for a minute. Take care.
