I was sorry to read of the death of Anna. I recall that, as a child, I enjoyed Anna's pickles and desserts. I remember riding the school bus with Wayne until he moved to Gackle. I still remember the day that his father died. It was one of those events in life where a person remembers where one was when hearing the news. I remember riding the bus that day, and hearing the news on the bus. I have fond memories of playing with Wayne's GI Joe and other toys as a child. I remember that my dad rented farmland west of Jud from Katie Kalmbach, Wayne & Lori's grandmother.

Lori and Wayne, My deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your mom. May your memories give you comfort now and in the days ahead. Joy
