Cousin Shirley called me today and said she saw this in paper. What a dear dear person Edna was. Best friend to Ida Geist my mom. How many times Edna would come over and do some ironing for mom, then play the piano and sing. What great memories. Also her awesome pfeffernusse cookies. God Bless her.

I've known Edna and her sister Martha since 1945 when I was only 6 years old. Edna and Martha went to my dad's church. I've kept in touch with Edna and stopped to see her on trips back to the mid-west. My wife and I last saw her in August of 2012. I know that she is now enjoying Heaven and I'll see her again someday. I have great memories of Edna. ---Billy & Sue Lemke---

Edna was the one us young boys had to dodge the kisses. She just loved her nieces and nephew's.
