My thoughts and prayers go out to Harry's daughter, brother and family. I've known Harry for around 8 years and it saddens that he won't be here. The last few years of his life, Harry came a long way and grew as a person from when I first met him. I always enjoyed when he talked about the ships he was on and his travels, but I really enjoyed the discussions we would have on many subjects. Harry knew a lot and was very analytical on things and I admired that about him. Many times a phone call that was intended for a few minutes would turn into a very long time because he had well thought out views and knowledge about things. I have been in Jamestown since 1996 and while I have gotten to know several people, I can't call them friends, but I called Harry a friend and he was. I look back at the past 8 years with fondness, but sadness because those times are gone. I do want to say one more thing about Harry. He really cared for his friend Nancy and her well being. He valued her as a person and went out of his way to help her out in life. I will miss Harry and will always remember him. He was a big part in my life for 8 years. May God bless Harry.
