Obituary

Alice Fuchs, 65, Jamestown, ND died Sunday evening July 21, 2013 at the Ave Marie Village in Jamestown, ND.

Alice Stampka was born May 3, 1948 at Jamestown, ND the daughter of Joseph Stampka and Josephine (Lira) Stampka. She received her elementary education in Jamestown where she graduated from the Jamestown High School. She worked at the North Dakota State Hospital in the Health Information services.

Alice and Jacob Fuchs were married August 14, 1982 in Jamestown, ND. They have made their home in Jamestown and she continued to work at the NDSH until her retirement in 2003. Following the death of her husband January 15, 2012 she continued to live in Jamestown.

She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Special Olympics volunteer, she enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR racing, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Joey Fuchs, Jamestown, ND; Jacob Fuchs, Aberdeen, SD; Chris (Curt) Kinzler, Jamestown, ND; 1 grandchild, Patrick Kinzler, and her mother, Josephine Stampka, Jamestown, ND and 2 brothers, Jerome Stampka and Ken Stampka, both of Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.

Funeral Service - 10:30 AM Thursday July 25, 2013 in St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND.

Interment - Highland Home Cemetery at Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 9a-8p at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown.
