Obituary

Johanna Rae Dockter, Jamestown, ND, came into this world 12 minutes before midnight on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. She left us less than three days later on Saturday, August 17, 2013. A beautiful little girl, only here for a short time, who touched the hearts of everyone she met and was loved by all. She is being taken care of in Heaven by her Great, Great Aunt Loretta.

She is survived by her parents, Dustin and Brandi, Jamestown, ND; paternal grandparents, August and Tally Dockter, Jamestown, ND; maternal grandparents, Larry and Kelli Halvorson, Mandan, ND; maternal great grandmother, Helen Lutton, Ronan MT; Uncle Tyler (Amanda) Dockter, Kensal, ND; Uncle Joshuah Dockter, Jamestown, ND; Uncle Jerimiah Dockter, Jamestown, ND; Aunt Kourtni Dockter, Jamestown, ND; Aunt Shandi Halvorson, Brainerd, MN; Aunt Mandi (Jay) Snyder, Mandan, ND; Aunt Kandi Halvorson (Brandon Balzer), Bismarck, ND; Cousins Preston, Calli and Parker Dockter, all Kensal, ND and several great aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Richard Reynolds officiating.

Following the service, burial will take place at Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown.

Prayer Service- 7:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this horrible time in life. One will never know why God lets you have a bundle of joy for such a short time. But know it was for a reason we will never understand. I can't begin to understand what you are going through but know you have lots of people that are praying for you all.
