Evangeline Ruth Aljoe, 73, Maple Valley, WA died Wednesday December 11, 2013 in Maple Valley, WA

Vangie Kleinknecht was born July 8, 1940 at Gackle, ND, the daughter of Emanuel and Lydia (Hust) Kleinknecht. She received her elementary education in local school and graduated from Streeter High School in 1958.

She and Everrett Aljoe were married October 7, 1960 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where in 1963 she started a day care. In 1970 they moved to Bismarck where she continued to do day care until 2005. They moved to Maple Valley, WA in 2008 where they have continued to reside.

She attended the First United Methodist Church in Bismarck.

She is survived by her husband, Everrett, Maple Valley, WA; 2 children, Evan (Missy) Aljoe, Savage, MN; Evonne (Mike) Maccarone, Ravensdale, WA; 3 grandchildren, Amberlee Aljoe, Shawn Aljoe, and Jessie Maccarone; 1 sister and 2 sister-in-laws, Virginia (Steve) McCallum, Joann Kleinknecht, all of Bismarck, ND, and Jean Kleinknecht, Grandin, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Elroy and Virgil.

Funeral Service - 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 17, 2013 in St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Aryln Coalter, pastor officiating.

Interment - Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation - 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Monday @ the funeral home

Prayer Service - 7:00 P.M. Monday @ the funeral home
