Patrick Wentland

Patrick F. Wentland, 59, Jamestown, ND died Monday night March 3, 2014 at his home in Jamestown, ND.

Patrick was born December 29, 1954 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Fredrick C. Wentland and Margaret M. (Burkhardt) Wentland. He received his education at the Jamestown Public Schools and graduated in 1973. He attended college at Jamestown College.

He and Linda Bromwich were married October 11, 1980 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where he worked at Ave Maria Village for 33 years as a CNA. He retired due to health issues.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jamestown. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed playing drums. He was an avid fisherman/ hunter and enjoyed watching dogs swim in the river by his home.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wentland, Jamestown, ND; 2 sons, Michael (Julia) Wentland, Kensal, ND; Jason (Tara) Wentland, Jamestown, ND; 2 brothers, Harold (Delores) Wentland; Glascow, MT; and Carrol (Helen) Wentland, Jamestown, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service: 1:00 PM Friday March 7, 2014 at the Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND with Deacon Tom Geffre, officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral home

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery in Jamestown, ND (spring)
