Dallas Guthmiller, 62, Jamestown, ND died early Monday morning April 28, 2014 at his home in Jamestown, ND.
Dallas Guthmiller was born October 26, 1951 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Jacob Guthmiller and Violet (Otto) Guthmiller. He received his elementary education in the local school and grew to manhood. He and Lois (Schrade) were married for a short time.
He and Susan (Brame) were married October 26, 1973 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Pettibone where he worked for Schultz Plumbing. In 1976 they moved to Jamestown where he worked for Jamestown Irrigation, John Deere, Glen Mac and recently for the Jamestown Sun. While working for Jamestown Irrigation he spent time in 1982 and 1984 in Saudi Arabia teaching how to operate irrigation systems.
Dallas enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, especially his trips to Canada. He played in the JP Munsch Band. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his children, Wayne (Stacey) Guthmiller, children Dakotah, Maranda, Levi,and Zach; Cory (Niki) Guthmiller, children, AhnaLisa, Jana and Caitlin; Rhonda (Mike) Dockter; child Cody Guthmiller; 1 brother, Lyle (Gloria) Guthmiller, 2 sisters, Marcella (Marlow) Schmidt, and Leona (Andrew) Braun, all of Jamestown, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brothers.
Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM May 2, 2014 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.
