Harvey J. Steele, 69, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday September 3, 2014 at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Harvey was born July 9, 1945 at Jamestown, ND, the son of Floyd J. and Merle (Thompson) Steele. He was raised in the Edmunds and Pingree area and graduated from Pingree High School in 1963.
He and Margaret Shank were married in 1967. Harvey owned and operated a bar in Ohio before moving back to North Dakota. He and Theresa Brake were later married. Harvey worked for the Jamestown Hospital and recently at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa, Belcourt, ND; 3 sons, Randy Steele, and Rick Steele, Holgate, OH; and Richy Steele, Lima, OH; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Darrel, AZ; Merlin and Mervin, both of Jamestown, ND; and 1 sister, Marlene Goodroad, Jamestown, ND, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Floyd Steele, Jr.
