Tanya Syverson, 43, Wahpeton, ND died Thursday January 29, 2015 at her home.

Tanya Knuth was born November 22, 1971 at Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Elaine (Rott) Knuth. She attended school at Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1990. She attended Moorhead State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree social work.

She and Paul Syverson were married December 31, 1992 at Jamestown, ND. She worked as a social worker in Fargo for many years.

She is survived by 2 sons, Joey Syverson and Justin Syverson, both of Jamestown, ND; 1 granddaughter, Ryleigh; 3 brothers, Ronald Moser, Valley City, ND; Shawn (Machelle) Knuth, Lakeville, MN; 1 sister, Chantel Knuth, Nashville, TN; and David Gray, Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Memorial Service - 11:00 AM Monday February 16, 2015 at the Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.

I'm sooooooo sorry to hear about Tanyas passing!! She was such a great person with a huge heart. I will surely miss her!!! Prayers for her family.

I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of Tanya. My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family and friends, especially Shawn and Chantel. I wasn't good at keeping in touch but my memories of Tanya growing up will never be forgotten. She was such an amazing person. She will be dearly missed.

I knew Tanya when she still lived in Jamestown. I always thought she was a sweet girl. My condolences to the family. May God give you the strength you need right now.

I have very fond memories of Tanya growing up. Sitting in the basement of her house, to walking over to Klaus Park to spending the night at my house. Tanya you will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
