Donna Glodrey, 84, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday February 14, 2015 at Eventide Nursing Home in Jamestown, ND.

Donna Meseberg was born October 22, 1930 in Watertown, SD the daughter of Eli and Mable (Borns) Meseberg. In 1947 the family moved to Britton, SD where she graduated from High School.

She married Ray Glodrey in 1949 and lived a short time in New Rockford, ND then moved to Jamestown, ND where she has lived since.

She owned and operated Raydon's Variety Store for fifteen years, also owned the DJ's bar and lounge in Streeter for five years, as well as Glodrey Apartments in Jamestown, ND.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Penny) of Streeter, ND; daughter in law Lynne Glodrey, Gackle, ND; 3 grandchildren Eric (Jessica) Glodrey, Aberdeen, SD; Alisa (Wilson) Muse, Tarboro, NC; Kali (Jeff) Widmer, Jamestown, ND; 4 great grandchildren: Morgan & Logan Glodrey, Aberdeen, SD; Layla Muse, Tarboro, NC; Vega Widmer, Jamestown, ND; 2 sisters Joy Bretsch, Brookings, SD & Twyla Mae (Richard) Adney, Pierre, SD; 1 sister in law Phyliss Meseberg, Watertown, SD.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Glodrey, 1 son Ron Glodrey, and1 brother Roger Meseberg.

Funeral Service- 1:00pm Tuesday February 17, 2015 in the Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein officiating

Visitation - 2 hours before the service @ the church

Burial - Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND

My deepest sympathy to all. I have know Donna since the 80's. First met her at White drug coffee shop. I was working at Feinsteins at the time. A couple years after the store closed, we met up at a store and made arrangements to start meeting for coffee at the Depot. When she no longer drove, I picked her up and we'd go for coffee or breakfast. Needless to say, we shared MANY cups of coffee together. Always enjoyed her company. We moved to Fargo in Oct. of 2011 but would stop to see her when we got back to Jamestown and call her on the phone. I know she loved u all very much. She was so proud of her grandchildren and then the great grand children, oh my!!! I will miss my friend, hope I was a good friend to her. Rest in peace Donna. I will be there in thoughts and prayers. God's blessings to all.

Sorry for the lost of your mother. She was always nice to me. My mom,Estella Hehn will miss Donna very much.They had become very close.
