Obituary

Vicki (Vera Mae) Bossart, 86, Jamestown, ND died peacefully Saturday May 26, 2018 at Eventide at Hi-Acres.

Vicki was born January 17, 1932 at Edgeley, ND, the daughter of Edward and Kathryn (Rohrbach) Kraus. She attended school at Edgeley where she graduated from Edgeley High School.

She and Raymond Robinson were married August 5, 1951 at Edgeley, ND. They made their home in Alaska where she worked for Alaska Airlines. They later divorced and she moved to Adrian, ND.

Vicki and Darwin Bossart were married August 6, 1964 at Pierre, SD. They divorced in 1999 when she moved into Jamestown for her retirement. She has continued to live in Jamestown, and entered Eventide in 2016.

She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Jamestown. She played piano and organ, was an animal lover and especially enjoyed cooking and watching the History Channel.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberlee (Jeff) McPike, Broomfield, CO; 4 grandchildren, Kate (Evan) Feldman, Westminster, CO, Max McPike, Broomfield, CO, Daniel (Andrea) McPIke, Lincoln, DE, Jack McPike, Tampa, FL; 1 great granddaughter, Willow McPike; and 1 sister, Joan (Marvin) Lee, Jamestown, ND, as well as an extended family, notably Mark and Corene Lee, with whom she spent many happy times.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, George.

Memorial Services - 2:30 PM Thursday May 31, 2018 at the Eventide Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Tom Eckstein, officiating

Kim and Family - My sympathy in the loss of Vicki. I had visited with her last October and she was delightful, always such a pretty lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in her passing.

It was a pleasure knowing Vicki and visiting with her and her sister and brother-in-law. I will miss Vicki and our conversations we had together. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with her when I visited my friend Beth at the James House. We would have coffee, catch up on the Twins and enjoy each others company. May you find comfort in your special memories.
