So sorry to hear of Vernons passing. I have many fond memories of so many nights over at Yvettes. Our families had lots of cookouts together during the summers. I have often thought back and laughed at all the good times I had at Wilens when I was growing up. Vernon was a good who will be missed. By the way, he made the BEST bean soup :) it seemed like he would be cooking that soup all day long!!!!

Sending my condolences to the entire Wilen family during this difficult time. While it's been years since I was able to visit with Vernon and Linda, I had the pleasure of sitting next to Vernon at my nephews wedding last summer. I remember thinking how Vernon had not aged one bit. He still was the cowboy I remember as a child. I pray God will give Vernon's family strength and comfort as they mourn the loss of a husband, father, brother, etc.
