Valerie Keats was born February 14, 1952 in Toronto Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Jake and Mable Keats. At an early age she moved to California later returning to Canada. She and her parents moved back to California where they resided. She recently has resided in Jamestown.

Surviving is 1 daughter, Aleese Hammond, Jamestown, ND: 2 sisters, Shirley (Warren) Hawkins, California and Joyce, Canada.
