Obituary

Troy Perman, 55, Streeter, ND died Wednesday December 31, 2014 at his home south of Streeter, ND.

Scott Troy Perman was born September 11, 1959 at Gackle, ND, the son of Glen and Esther (Freier) Perman. He attended school at Streeter and graduated from Streeter High School. He farmed with his father on the family farm.

He and Peg Trudell were married in December 3, 1988 at Napoleon, ND. They made their home on the Ben Miller farm 10 miles south of Streeter where they raised registered Herefords and quarter horses.

Troy enjoyed riding and training horses and made many trips to the Badlands to camp and trail ride. Winters found him showing and selling Hereford seed stock at national cattle shows.

Troy was a member of the American Hereford Association, ND Cattlemen's Association and director for the Streeter Fire District and the ND Hereford Association.

He is survived by his wife Peg, Streeter, ND; his mother, Esther Perman, Streeter, ND; his sister, Gwen (Craig) Gillespie, and 3 nieces, all of Morris, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father Glen in 2003.

Funeral Service - 10:30 AM Monday January 5, 2015 in the United Methodist Church at Streeter, ND, with Pastor Hazel Behrens, officiating

Interment - Perman Family Cemetery, south of Streeter, ND

Visitation- 4:00 - 7:30 PM Sunday @ the Church
Prayer Service - 7:30 PM Sunday @ the Church

Very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Troy was a great classmate and I remember having some great conversations with him during our school bus rides in high school.He was such a sweet soul and I'm glad to hear he had the opportunity to raise cattle and quarter horses.
