Temple June Ruscheinsky

Mrs. Temple June Ruscheinsky, 71, passed away early Monday morning, Oct. 5, 2015, in Genesis Healthcare, surrounded by her loving family.

Temple was born on July 18, 1944 in Jamestown, North Dakota, the daughter of Paul and Inez (Gorthy) Wood. Temple attended schools and graduated high school in Jamestown.

On Nov. 5, 1962, she married her lifelong companion, Peter Ruscheinsky Jr., at the Basilica of St. James. She was an employee of Villa Maria Nursing Home, that was her job, but she always considered her calling to be as a wife and a mother. The most important people in Temple's life were her family.

She enjoyed nature, and enjoyed camping and spending time in her garden. Her happiest time was the time spent at home, cooking, and being with the people she loved the most.

Temple was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Brittney Buckley.

She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years; and her sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Wendy Ruscheinsky of Fargo, North Dakota, and Peter and Angie Ruscheinsky of Butte; and her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Wayne Sterns of Butte. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Walker and Nathan Norris of Fargo, North Dakota, Ashton (Calvin) Penrose, Madison Sterns, Sam Sterns, Carson Ruscheinsky, and Rylan Ruscheinsky, all of Butte; her great grandchildren, Jada and Isaiah Walker of Fargo, and Cameron Penrose of Butte; and her sister, Joan Fietzek of Jamestown, North Dakota.

Friends are asked to join the family at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Duggan Dolan Mortuary Chapel in Butte, Montana, where prayers will be recited.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Monday October 12, 2015 in the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, North Dakota. Interment will follow in Highland Home Cemetery.
