Steven Douglas Stroh, 54, Jamestown, ND died Tuesday September 29, 2015 at his home in Jamestown, ND.

Steve Stroh was born September 8, 1961 at Jamestown, ND the son of Joseph E. Stroh and Elizabeth (Reiss) Stroh. He received his education at the local school and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1979. He received his degree in Diesel Mechanics at NDSSS at Wahpeton, ND and moved to Estherville, IA and worked at a Truck shop there until moving to Fargo and then back to the Jamestown area where he worked various jobs.

He was an avid Vikings fan. He also enjoyed watching movies and playing his guitar. He especially loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Nonnie Jasmann, Jamestown, ND; 2 sons, Marcus "Shane" Asmus, Shawn "Tyler" Asmus, both of Houston TX; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Jerzee Johnson , Liam Asmus; 5 brothers, Joseph Stroh, Jr., Paul (Karmen) Stroh, Jamestown, ND; Robert (Sally) Stroh, Bismarck, ND; David (Dorene) Stroh, all of Jamestown; Frank Stroh, Guam, USA; 9 sisters, Carolyn (Terrance) Hazer, Woodworth, ND; Jeanine (William) Altringer, Sanborn, ND; Rosalyn (Kenneth) Dockter, Mary (Clydell) Dockter, all of Streeter, ND; Dorothy (Michael) Robyt, Noreen (Duane) Andersen, Patricia (Larry) Wahl, all of Jamestown, ND; Betty Jo Oster, Grand Forks, ND; Theresa (Bob) Frohlich, Bismarck, ND; many nieces and nephews, and special friend, Sue Lee, Casselton, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters-in-law, 1 brother-in-law and 1 nephew.

Mass of Christian Burial - 10:00 AM Monday October 5, 2015 at Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, ND

Inurnment - St. Pauline's Cemetery in Windsor, ND

Steve was one of my friends in high school, he loved getting into trouble and having fun. Steve was in FFA and was a farm kid who like to build and work on cars. He will be missed. Rest in peace Steve!
