Richard Mayher, 82, Jamestown, ND died Friday, October 22, 2021 at Eventide Nursing Home in Jamestown.
Richard was born June 28, 1939 at Omaha, NE the son of Raymond and Amelia Mayher. He grew to manhood in the Omaha area attending local schools and graduating from North High School in 1957, where he met his wife, Beverly.
He and Beverly Conger were married September 28, 1958, they made their home in Omaha where Richard worked at a grocery store as a meat cutter from the age of 18 until his retirement at 72 in 2011. They moved to Jamestown in October of 2020 where they have resided since.
Richard enjoyed gardening, landscaping and carpentry; he was a jack of all trades.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly; 3 children, Scott (June), Omaha, NE; Kurt (Lynda), Medina, ND; Tammie (Bert) Aagesen, Phoenix, AZ; 10 grandchildren, Kendall, Taylor, Ben, Brett, Kellie, Jamison, Madison, Jaycee, Samantha and Elliot; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Donna (Jack) Conger, Arkansas and Georgiana (Terry) Lesely, Omaha, NE.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
