Obituary

Mary Trzpuc, 88, Jamestown, ND died Sunday morning May 11, 2014 at the Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Mary L. Matt was born March 3, 1926 on the family farm near Litchville, ND, the daughter of John Matt and Ena (Miller) Matt. She received her elementary education in the local school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity where she helped on the family farm.

She and H. James Trzpuc were married May 25, 1944 at Marion, ND. They made their home on a farm and farmed near Marion, ND. She moved to Jamestown in 1975 where she worked at the ND State Hospital for a number of years.

She entered Ave Maria Village on September 23, 2013 where she spent her last days. She was loved by all.

She was a member of the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, ND. She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, golfing and fishing.

Surviving are her children, Bernie (Jane) Trzpuc, Mary Lou (Suz) Trzpuc, Cindy (John) Sinclair, and Linda (Jane) Niess, all of Jamestown, ND, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother, Dorothy Sarbaum, LaMoure, ND, Luella (Harley) Stoltenberg, Jamestown, ND; Larry Matt, Spiritwood Lake, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Duane, 1 sister Pat.

Eucharist of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Thursday May 15, 2014 in the Ave Maria Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Fr. Joe Barrett officiating.

Interment will be made in the Catholic Cemetery, Marion, ND.

Visitation - 9-8 Wednesday at the funeral home.

Prayer Service - 7:00 PM Wednesday May 14, 2014 at the Funeral Home.
