Mary Fode, 71 Jamestown, ND died Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Mary Geiger was born December 18, 1940 at Cooperstown, ND, the daughter of Joe Geiger and Alvina (Zimprich) Geiger. She attended the local rural school and moved to Valley City, ND.

She and Harold Johnson were married in 1957 at Valley City and moved to Syracuse, NY. She moved back to North Dakota.

She and Gary Fode were married January 24, 1966 and made their home in Minnesota, where she worked for Tonka Toys. They moved to Jamestown in 1975 where she owned a ceramic shop. She enjoyed Bowling and Pool League and Bingo.

She attended Ave Maria Chapel in Jamestown, ND.

She is survived by her 3 children, Richard Johnson, Jamestown, ND; Vickie (Mark) Lura, Sanborn, ND; Jo Marie (Curt) Wiest, Jamestown, ND; 8 grandchildren Amber Fode,Duane,Katrina, Evan and Larissa Wiest, all of Jamestown, Austin and Collin Lura, Sanborn, and Haylee Otto, Medina; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Leo Geiger; Lawrence (Helen) Geiger, all of Cooperstown, ND, and Leonard (Evelyn) Geiger, Valley City, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter, 1 son and 1 sister-in-law.

The Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 28, 2012 at the Ave Maria Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Deacon Tom Geffry and Fr. Arogya, officiating.

The interment will be at St. George Catholic Cemetery in Cooperstown, ND.

Visitation: 1:00 - 7:00 PM Monday @ the funeral home
