Obituary

Marvin Nitschke, 69, Dilworth, MN, died early Sunday morning June 18, 2017 in Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

Marvin was born May 20, 1948 at Jud, ND, the son of Solomon Nitschke and Ida (Henne) Nitschke. He received his elementary education in the local school and graduating from the Jud High School in 1968.

He and Gladys Enzminger were married May 11, 1979 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown where they owned and operated Nitschke Carpet Care for 16 years and made custom cabinets. They then managed Apartments in Jamestown and recently moved to Dilworth to be closer to Medical Care. Gladys passed away in 2014.

Surviving are his children, Tymberlee (Richard) Sisk, Moorhead, MN; Tammy (Mike) Binder, Fargo, ND; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Sisk, Alexandria Binder, Derrick Sisk and Alexis Binder; one brother and sister-in-law, Melvin (Sharon) Nitschke, Fargo, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife.

Service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday June 21, 2017 in the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Rev. Tim Stoa, officiating.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home

Visitation 1-7 Tuesday and 9-1 Wednesday at the funeral home.

I am so sorry to read of Marvin's passing. I hadn't seen him for years. I will be thinking of you all over the next few days and hope that time will ease some of the pain of losing him.
