Obituary

Lori Geinert, 56, Gackle, ND died Thursday July 14, 2016 at her home in Gackle.

Lori Kalmbach was born March 17, 1960 at LaMoure, ND, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Moos) Kalmbach. They lived 6 miles west of Jud until 1966 when they moved to Gackle where she attended school and graduated from Gackle High School in 1978.

She and Dani Geinert were married February 9, 1979 at Gackle, ND. They made their home in Gackle where she worked at the Gackle Care Center until going to work at the Gackle Post Office for 16 years. In 1991 they started Dani's Place and have continued to run the bar for 25 years. Following the death of her husband in 2010 she has continued to live in Gackle.

Lori was a member of the United Church of Christ in Gackle, having served on the church board and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

She is survived by her son Myles (Jen) Geinert, Jamestown, ND; 2 grandchildren, Rhemmi and Finnley; 1 brother, Wayne Kalmbach, Bowman, ND; 2 aunts, Delores Netzer, Bismarck, ND; Cora Moos, Jamestown, ND; and special friend, Kevin Ehrlichman, Gackle, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 1 brother in infancy.

Memorial Service - 2:30 PM Sunday July 24, 2016 Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Gackle, ND, with Pastor Rick Steele, officiating

Burial - Gackle Cemetery, Gackle, ND
