I am so sad to see this today. Lisa and I had talked a few times in recent years, and she knew how much I cared and how I wished more than anything that somehow her life could have been better, easier, with less pain. But her kids and grandbabies were her world, and as long as she had them, she had what was most important to her. She had a strength few people will ever truly understand, because unless you are in those circumstances, you just can't imagine the strength it takes. And she always tried to have a smile and find a way to laugh despite it all. It has been a very long time since I lived in ND, but when I look back, Lisa will always be a part of many of those memories. As will her family, esp Kathie, Reggie, her parents (God bless their souls), and her children ... though I knew them when they were little. My thoughts are with you all, and I pray for peace for you--and also for Lisa. ~Donna
